THE ESSENTIALS – YOGA EQUIPMENT YOU’LL NEED

To set up a home yoga room you don’t need much equipment. Ideally, you want your yoga room to be a clean and uncluttered space. All you need is a quality yoga mat and some yoga blocks. You may also consider adding other yoga room essentials to your space like a yoga strap, a bolster or a blanket.

 

YOGA ROOM DECOR – KEEP IT SIMPLE

A minimalist decor will help you create a place of zen, where you can disconnect from the outside world and focus on your practice.

Choose decorations that are inspiring and functional, such as yoga and meditation books, a piece of art, houseplants, vases, or a small speaker.

To keep the space organised and uncluttered, store your non-essentials in cabinets, shelves or baskets.



CHOOSE A SOOTHING COLOUR PALETTE

Your yoga room is a place for exercise, meditation and peace. Choosing the right colour palette for this space is important as it can affect the way you feel in it.

Earth tones can be incredibly calming and grounding, making them excellent colour choices for a yoga room. Light cool tones such as blues and lavender also enhance a calming state of mind.
